I heard that he eats a lot junk food like burgers, pizza and snickers. He does it during training camp and it doesn't seem to affect his performance.

Just goes to show all of Joshua 's advanced training methods meant nothing when they both fought. The blob can take a punch, the bodybuilder cannot! lol

I think the only person who can pull this off is Andy. I really hope other fighters don’t adopt this diet thinking they’ll be fine...

Floyd used to its Macdonals in camp it means nothing. If your fit you can eat what you want and from Andy's physique you can tell he's not eating a strict diet - that said he can fight like f** so it matters not

Might not effect his performance because he laid out a champ, but Andy (and everyone else) would be naive to think that losing a few pounds wouldn't benefit him.

He could lose a solid stone and be more efficient in every area from cardio to reflexes.

People rave about weightless effecting his power, but he's hardly Mike Tyson! It's an excuse because he's so lazy.

If he tightened up the diet for 3 months, worked on his S&C, kept doing what he's doing with Manny, his overall performance would be a lot better than now.

I just don't buy the "he's not as effective when he's 5lbs lighter!" nonsense. He lacks discipline with what he chooses to eat, simple.

How old is Ruiz? Wait until that guy retires from boxing. He truly will become the blob.

From a boxing standpoint, I think he needs to be careful changing what got him to where he is.

He has a winning combination of quickness, power, endurance and durability. I'd be careful with messing with that.

He can maybe tighten it up a little but I'd be careful making any kind of radical change to his diet or training.

    100 Milkshakes - Calcium
    100 bananas - Potassium
    100 Gummy Flintstone vitamins

Also I noticed Ruiz eats onion rings instead of French fries. Such a wise man, all those extra onions are great for Ruiz's coat.

There ya go, it's all about the amount of calories you're consuming relative to how you burn them.

I think we can all speculate on Ruiz's diet and in the end we can't be sure just what he's consuming. I'm a little sick of the criticism he gets for being a little chubby and I'm not going to pretend to know for sure whether he has a bad diet or whether he's just naturally a bigger person.
All I can say for certain is that his trainer is a fetish 'feeder' who funnels pure goose fat into his fighter every night.
