The knockdowns were from repeated unanswered punches though, same as Wlad's losses. He wasn't just being starched every time he was hit clean. That indicates more of an inability to defend himself, not a poor chin IMO.
My point of my post you replied to, had nothing to do with Joshuas chin. It was more to do with his loss and how it could've been a lot worse.
like fury isn't going to do his best to get Ruiz next. short, fat, little power. he is Fury's stereotypical opponent.
You really think AJ is a cherry picker? Outside of the people that objectively refuse to fight him (Wilder, Fury, Ortiz) exactly who should AJ have fought that he hasnt?
Still can't fathom what just happened. I ALWAYS knew Ruiz was gifted but thought he was just another Arreola, a fighter who never took training seriously. Maybe I started to believe the hype in AJ. Would love to see Ruiz vs Wilder. Wilder has get to past Ortiz first. If Ortiz doesn't get too overconfident like in the first fight (ortiz was easily winning on my scorecard), Ortiz and Ruiz could be sitting atop the HW division.
