50 50 fight. AJ clearly has the tools to win of he fights the right game plan. He was up on the cards and had scored the first knock down before things crumbled apart for him. Add into the equation he will be the house fight and preferred by the ref and judges, and that's alot going for him. The big question is he going to be good mentally. Or is his confidence totally shot. Coupled with the clear style problems Ruiz poses, I could easily see an getting brutally kod again.

Rahman mercy be upon him was a limited brave boxer-puncher who landed the proverbial Hail Mary on LL, the superior boxer won the rematch

Ruiz been hooking long before Joshua knew anything about the game, Andy Ruiz is superior to Anthony Joshua in every category...even Plastic girl is ditching the UK all together and looking for comfort in the arms of the Chubby Alpha male...Amir Khan-Anthony Joshua can drink to that....Andy Ruiz is actually a likeable face, most Americans can identify with this smooth operator...All natural...All he needs is some beer and good food

Boxing for the powers that be is just a money cash grab. That's all it is to them. Favoring fighters has nothing to do with race, national origin, style preference, etc.

It's simply about protecting a cash cows record. Because it multiple fights or years to bounce back from a loss and build up your drawing power again.

Andre Ward said it best. After a loss nobody wants to pay you.

Well these guys have a lot of money riding on Joshua, Wilder, Canelo. And why do they repeatedly get gifts on the scorecards? It's because the powers want to line their pockets. And everybody gets a piece of the pie. The networks, promoters, refs, managers, fighters themselves, trainers, etc. EVERYBODY gets in on the corruption to milk the cash cow.

People right now are devastated that they wont be filling their pockets with a Wilder Joshua super payday.

Why do you think they robbed Fury? They didn't want to lose out on the Wilder Joshua payday.

i dont tihnk so, he could well triumph.

This is the worst possible outcome for AJ - it levels the assumption that he has elite ability.

The nearest thing I can tihnk of would be Corrie-Wlad, where wlad was supposed to win over his nth choice opponent who was a retired failed contender...though corrie wasworse since he'd never had a sniff ofthe title, and wasretired.

The only way it could be worse than that is if AJ runs in fear from the rematch form the deadbeat like Wlad did.

It's like fighting Wilder in the US, Canelo in Vegas. Home advantage will always be the biggest advantage to have in boxing.

But before we go the "that's why I don't fight in Europe" way if some American gets stopped in Australia, before pointing out the obvious here... Ruiz got the chance to fight the champ in the US first... the land of the free and the home of the robbery.
Logic dictates that the roles would have to be reversed in ghe rematch. We're not going full Mayweather here and fight without a passport forever.

Ruiz won't have to worry about a decision, he will still stop aj again might be earlier next time, say what you want about Ruiz but he has fast hands and throws good combinations that's what caught aj he was surprised of the speed, it's rare that you see small heavy weights with fast hands, Ruiz is going to be giving a lot of fighters hell because he can take a punch and can come back and hurt you back while he's still hurt , I wouldn't be surprised if he also beats Wilder but will for sure lose to Fury due to styles

Yup. I can only imagine what all those parasites like Hearn, Haymon, et al. are doing right now. I would have loved to have seen the look on their faces when Joshua hit the canvas in the 7th. And yes, setting up that Joshua-Wilder mega-fight is EXACTLY why Fury was robbed. Payback's a ***** - serves those parasitic SCUM called promoters right for what they do to fighters.
