He was literally too fat to perform his usual head-dip.

His ****** homies probably put that into his head....

Ultimately, Ruiz is the architect of his own downfall and until he proves us wrong, another Buster Douglas......

Don't know if anyone remembers but Fury mentioned about a month before the fight that he heard rumours Ruiz had not been training properly and partying.

I always had Parker winning that close fight against Ruiz. After that fight, Parker continued to train like a champion. As soon as Andy becomes champion, he doesn't train like a champion at all.

I wanted Ruiz to win but now that I've heard how he conducted himself leading up to the rematch, I'm glad AJ regained his belts.

After watching AJ school Ruiz, I think AJ would have beaten an in shape Ruiz.

Me and others stated that the money would go to his head and he wouldnt be able to handle it

AJ was used to it, so knew for sure AJ would adapt, not overlook Ruiz again AND ruiz would come in weaker because he wouldnt take training seriously

    Easiest bet ever

On the contrary, I think if he read these forums, he would see how many people were rooting for him and try to prove the haters wrong.

    A shame the opposite happened.

"Whyte's assessment… Have you seen Star Wars? He is Jabba The Hutt.

He should be ashamed of himself. I don't understand - these guys work so hard to get to a place, then get there, then fall off the edge of a cliff.

People might say I came in out of shape as well. But that's a different story, I wasn't the unified heavyweight champion of the world!

If Ruiz Jr wants it, he can get it, because he's now a big player in the game. I'd go to Mexico to fight him."

I think Dillian can knock Ruiz out. Dillian is a slugger and doesn't have the "too big for his own good" disadvantage that Joshua had against Ruiz in the first fight. Whyte is also a good inside fighter and has huge torque on his left hook from a small space. I think he can slug it out with Ruiz and end up stopping him.

Yeah maybe, but Ruiz can take a punch lol its scary. AJ was landing some big man shots on Ruiz and Ruiz was like:

    "Boring.
Is that the best you got, boy?
If that's the best you got,
I'm just gonna have to kill you.
    "

Good match up none the less, but if no title on the line just cant justify the risk for Whyte.

    True.

However, I see doing a [demolition] job on Ruiz as a way of jumping the rankings in other organisations too. Particularly now that Ruiz will be at an all time low and confidence and motivation will be hard to muster up ....

You gotta be ruthless in this game and kick a guy when he is down sometimes....
