After his win over Dimitrenko, Ruiz went about calling out Adam Kownacki, what a tasty fight that could be!
I can see Kownacki's corner saying "Stop getting hit with supid shots you hear me!?!" But by then it would be too late.
Would much prefer to see this fight than either vs aj. Two fat boys who throw constant leather and both fight in close range would be really exciting fight. Kownacki got more power ruiz got more skill and better gas tank. Lean slightly towards ruiz jr on points.
When there's supposedly a slot available to become a multi millionaire and unified heavyweight champion, why would any senior heavyweight be calling out anyone but AJ?
He's put his name down in the option pool amongst the myriad of other heavyweights who are gunning for the opportunity. Whether he actually believes he'll get a shot against Joshua is another question altogether. I'm thinking if he's called out Kownacki too then he knows he's not really got much of a chance of being an opponent for Joshua come June 1. I'd be perfectly happy with the Kownacki fight though, I think it would be a really good brawl for however long it would last.
He's called out both, I'm just assuming he feels the chances of him fighting Joshua are slim when there are better names available for Joshua to fight.
