I know it's only like 10 or so lbs, but he looks decent in the picture:

Do you guys think this will help him with conditioning, does it neither help nor hurt and is purely cosmetic, or will it hurt his overall power game against Joshua? (Or, if you absolutely must take it in that direction, is it a preplanned excuse in case he loses the fight?) Personally, I say it helps him with conditioning, mostly because I refuse to live in a world where working to be less of a Pillsbury Doughboy doesn't help you overall.

He probably lost a lot of power as well. Wrong strategy!

Surely aj can stay away from those Tyrannosaurus rex arms and poor footwork in the rematch, with a little effort and implementing a little ring iq..

Losing fat will help him not hinder him. The fat around his waist and upper torso are just extra weight his body has to carry around. Losing those extra 20 or so lbs will increase speed and even some extra pop in his punches.

Let´s hope they are doing it the right way.
Seen plenty of athletes focus too hard on weigh loss and pay dearly for it.
