Ruiz's chin is too good. I think he walks Wilder down and stops him too. It's not a foregone conclusion that Wilder beats Ruiz, just like it wasn't a foregone conclusion AJ would've beaten Ruiz (as many thought before the fight).

Ortiz had Wilder out on his feet in the 7th round. Ruiz is clearly capable of doing the same thing. Wilder isn't any better defensively than AJ IMO.

Ortiz is a harder puncher than Ruiz and imo a better fighter than him.

Wilder is a much more dangerous fight for Ruiz than AJ

Well I'll disagree with you there. I don't think Ortiz is better than Ruiz. Ortiz struggled with a journeymen in Hammer in his last fight. His rematch with Wilder is pointless, he's going to get stopped again.

Povetkin is a better fighter than Ruiz but lost (because of old age). Difference between Ortiz and Ruiz is Ruiz is in his prime and Ortiz is a washed up old dude. So Ortiz being better at a washed up age doesn't prove anything.

Wilder the only Heavyweight who is yet to be knocked down and still the hate flows.

Wilder has more heart, the superior and other worldly power.

Have you forgotten Ruiz struggled with Sergei Lyakhovich? The guy that Wilder destroyed in 1 round.

Ortiz is definitely better the Ruiz.

You only say that because Ruiz won against Joshua, look at his other fights, look at the fights against Dimitrenko and Johnson.

Ortiz didn‘t struggle against Hammer and Hammer is not a journeyman btw.

If you call winning every round struggling, yes I remember. But styles make fights. Wilder has better punching power than Ruiz, no doubt about it. It doesn't mean he'd beat Ruiz just because he sparked out Liakovich.

Ruiz stopped Dimitrenko and he didnt' struggle so I don't see your point.

And Ortiz did struggle against Hammer, I had money on the over and watched the fight. Now maybe journeymen is harsh but Hammer is like a top 15-20 HW at best.
