    Yes it does,

What other fighter in boxing history has been 6 “6 and 255 and 250 on average with no body fat and able to carry it long term with solid thick muscle all around .? Lean muscle takes up more oxygen ; being under 240 is a major difference ,Joshua will be faster then Ruiz and at that weight he was always a viscous puncher .

Ruiz is not a good example of stamina, he’s born heavy and doesn’t utilize much energy moving around and punches in spurts. It would have no relevance of a 6”6 guy having to have very good stamina with an entire different unit carrying all muscle who is a counter puncher which requires fast reactions to be a great one.

AJ will obviously have better stamina here , what he gives up is physical strength on the inside or controlling center ring but what he gains is easier access to combinations and sharper punching which spells doom for Ruiz who hit the floor with just one last time.

I can’t think of any advantage Ruiz has off hand,

There are heavy fighters with good stamina and light ones with bad stamina, that's true, but weight does affect stamina, generally you would get less tired if you are smaller/ lighter. However I like to see heavy boxers at heavyweight, if AJ gained a little more muscle instead of loosing some it would have been more interesting to me.

I agree, absolutely AJ can win, he is the bookies favourite again, men at this size can knock each other out, one punch can end this any time.

I'm witnessing AJ fans/supporters almost erasing the first fight from their minds, wiping it clean like it never happened.

Like AJ has got it all right this time, forgetting he had a 12-13 week camp before and Ruiz had 5 weeks notice.

AJ is going to box, it's Parker performance V2, he looks average in that Parker fight, right now Ruiz is better than Parker was back then.

I just can't see AJ boxing and not getting involved for 12 rounds and not tiring, not getting hit to the body and head..

A lot of people are doing pretty much exactly what they done before the first fight, dismissing Ruiz and making AJ sound like a prime Lennox/Tyson/Holyfield hybrid.

Worrying for Ruiz. I don't care who you are, 20st and moving around like he does..they don't mix well.

I'm leaning further towards AJ after this. But rather than a first half KO, I'm expecting a chess match for a few rounds. And then AJ will dismantle him in the second half.

All AJ has to do is survive those first few rounds because Ruiz will hit like a freight train if he lands a clean shot.

I don't think it's the same as Jones junior, Joshua can afford to drop 10lbs from his 6'6 giant frame over 6 months. I was confident of Ruiz repeating what he did last time, now im not so sure anymore.

Try putting on a 40 lbs weighted vest and then do 10 x 10 pushups. Tell me how it went.

Looks like Ruiz Jr has broken the scales at the weigh in and has eaten himself into even more obesity than before.

There will be more money now being lumped on AJ than before. AJ has come in light and ready to be mobile and box.

This doesn’t look good for Ruiz

Nobody is saying AJ is Audley Harrison.

What people are reacting to is the hype that been going on for a very very long time, AJ is very good but he isn't GREAT.

I think that's fair, AJ isn't great, even if he wins tomorrow night he isn't great, after the first fight, his punch resistance, heart and a few other things are being questioned.

And rightly so, Hearn himself said people are well within their rights to question AJ and it's up to AJ to answer them.

AJ has it all to prove, is he mentally strong enough, does he really want it, because I don't think it's out of order questioning AJ after he was dropped 4 times, spat out his gumshield and basically quit.

I've just sat and thought about this comment..

I now have a new found respect for my Father In Law who must have had at least 300lb lay on him, my mother in law is Ruiz shaped.

Ignore these people...they never trained a day in their life lol Only here have I read losing weight has no effect on stamina.

Funny how all the people who said Ruiz beats AJ every day of the week are now backtracking and picking AJ

Exactly bro.... even a 5,10, 20 pound weight makes a difference because you ARENT just lifting it ONE TIME... you have to do it for reps...

And it adds up very quickly... your body has to expend more energy per SECOND moving the extra amount of weight... so it drains you much faster.

Very basic physics... work done = energy x time.

Doesn't look good for AJ, he's giving away too much weight. Ruiz is carrying more muscle, same or less fat than last time.
Remember that muscle weights more than fat so Ruiz has probably just worked on strength training like he said he would and that's where the slight increase had come from.

Damn that Ruiz weight is making me concerned and re-considerate. However, I stand by my Ruiz pick.
