The Andy Ruiz from the Parker fight vs a prime Tua

I'll take Tua by KO and not feel confident about it. Both can be incredibly lethargic but Andy has feet of concrete and won't be keeping it at range, seems a bad combo for fighting Tua.

I'm pretty sure Ruiz would outbox him. He's very skilled. People forget how unskilled some of the guys who troubled Tua were

Tua is nearly impossible to KO and in really good shape in his prime.
Also, his hand speed in his prime (especially on the left) was as fast as Ruiz.
I don't see Ruiz finessing a UD over 12 rounds (see Parker fight).
Tua would KO Ruiz and probably early.

Both have good chins and slow feet. I’d give it to Ruiz since he has the edge in skill and hand speed. Tua’s pretty overrated

Tua was never as fast Ruiz. Moreover, Ruiz throws straight punches which reach the target much faster due to form.

Ruiz by points win, due to his superior speed and skill. I don't think either of them wins by stoppage. Would look like the Ibeabuchi fight.

Prime Tua from the Ike fight vs Ruiz from the Joshua fight. Tua by KO.

Yeah, I don't think Ruiz would stand in front of him, Ruiz isn't a basic come forward slugger like Tua. Now if they did toe to toe I'd favor Tua because I think he has the better chin.

Both have iron chins, both like to fight in close, both hit hard. But I think Tua had the better chin and hit harder of the too, though Ruiz is faster and the better combination puncher. But Tua also had the better work rate. Ruiz threw 416 punches vs Parker while Tua threw 755 punches vs Ibeabuchi.

Yes Tua could be out boxed but Ruiz isn't a boxer, he wouldn't move and jab like the guys that out boxed Tua, his style is let his opponent come to him, let them lead and then counter in spurts as he doesn't have the movement to cut off the ring well and doesn't have the stamina to swarm opponents and out work them.

I think Ruiz has success in spurts but just gets outworked vs Tua at his best and gets ground down and stopped, even his iron chin can only take so many left hooks off a puncher like Tua.
