I gotta know how it went down. There's no RBR, no youtube, and RuizJr should be ranked in the top 25 now with that HUGE KO win. Not hinting for illegal links, but if someones seen it, break it down for me please.:good:good:good
Listed at 6'2 but looking shorter (my guess is 6"+) he also looks like he could drop 30lbs of fat or at least tighten up but he has fast hands and obvious power KOing the previously unbeaten Hanks He reminds me of a large version of Tony Ayala and has that deceptive build as well Thoughts http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GVxiOigDnxU
Wow.....that L hook was f/n invisible. fast as hell, even in slomo. Damned when are they gonna put this kid on a major network already. Im really started to believe in this kid. Fat as he is, he incredibly durable, has good athleticism, insane power in both hands. Huge Mago fan, but this kid is one Mago should avoid. Hell, this is one kid all the other top prospects should avoid. Deontay Wilder pissed all over himself when he saw his boy Joe getting KTFO. And Lord knows Hanks has 10X the chin that wilder possesses. :yep:yep:yep
Butterbean was able to dominate clubfighters, cans and journeyman and lost more than he won against journeyman. Not saying Hanks was an elite fighter, but at this stage, Hanks was considered a top 10 world level prospect and Ruiz apparently dominated him from the opening bell. Bean could easily be outboxed, whereas RuizJr seems to have the upper hand from inside or outside. Also, RuizJr seems to be looking more fit than in the past. Bean relied on his being outta shape to get fights, sorta a sideshow attraction. This kids got the tools to beat top 20s. He really needs a big name now to push him into the top 10. I could see him beating a guy like DelBoy in dominating fashion. I hope Arum pushes him hard in that direction, and fast.:deal
246 is his career low. He was 254 last night/this AM. I'd like to see him at 235 myself, but until he shows some weakness at 250+, it's gonna be hard to convince the kid that he's doing something wrong. Gradually, I think he'll slim down to a fit 240, but I think it'll take some big fights and some world attention to motivate him to do so.:think
He's the next step in the evolution of Bean fighters, with numerous upgrades over the first generation. This is not to be confused with the Golden Age prototype, Tony Galento. V 1.0 was Butterbean v 2.0 is Andy Ruiz, aka Silkybean
Andy Ruiz is a future animal, I hate how sloppy he is though. I know he's dropped alot of weight but still. Real good win for him though. Way to send a message
to me, Ruiz has currently the quickest hands of any HW prospect, if he can get down to 235, then he will be a huge force in the post Wlad era, Mago went down from 270 to 225, if he can do it, so can Andy
Thats why I hate how sloppy he is, his hand speed is ******ed, I'm not saying be ripped like Wlad but I know without that spare tire, his speed advantage over everyone would be insane.
Meh, he's going nowhere unless he loses at Least 20 pounds, lazy ****er will get punished as soon as he faces someone half good, Joe Hanks is ****, lol at calling him top 10, he's not even moved beyond beating guys with losing records. People rip on David Price for getting overhyped before stepping up, then this thread is just a joke
Meh....I said top 10 PROSPECT. No one is ranking him in their WORLD HW Top 10 lists. As for beating Hanks.....it's a far greater accomplishment than anything Wilder has done, and it's nearly as high quality as DelBoys best win over Scott.:deal
