The fact this little fat midget hasn't got involved in the Saudi ruckus shows his management have failed him terribly.

Boxing is dead in the America & the UK for the next 12 months. Money has ran dry. If you aren't getting in on the Saudi action you might as well retire.

He said he was the bogeyman. He can be the mascot for a Boogerman remake instead.

If he wants to quit, that's his prerogative. Boxing is a very dangerous game, and you shouldn't partake if your heart is halfway out the door. But I think Andy has a really inflated sense of his own cultural appeal. Beating Anthony Joshua once does not make you a cultural icon. Buster Douglas didn't become a giant star after beating Mike Tyson, a fighter with far more mystique and cultural appeal than Joshua could ever even dream of. Plus, Andy doesn't have the kind of body or charisma that would lend itself to becoming successful in cinema. Tyson Fury would have had a much better chance of transitioning successfully to the entertainment industry, at least before this latest fiasco.

Maybe they're doing a remake of The Blob.

    Cruel but fair.

Fine by me. I'd rather he retire than talk about fighting and price himself out constantly, wasting everyone's time.

Ruiz had genuine ability, could have done a lot in the division but couldn't keep himself out of the fridge . Another ill disciplined boxer wastes his talent.

I don't see that squeaky voice making inroads in tinsel town somehow.

He made about $20 mil in two fights w/ AJ. But now seems to be pricing himself out of any meaningful fights. If this is what he wants, so be it. He has his health and money. Last thing we need is another HW to hold up fights that should be made.
