Something about Rogan when talking to boxers or about boxing that comes across a little condescending as if he thinks MMA is superior its sort of like backhanded compliments. Even during the interview with Ruiz he said something about the Floyd Conor fight like “Floyd is smart he only gave Conor 6 weeks to train” As is that would’ve made a difference on the outcome.
I don't know why Ruiz is so against fighting Joshua in England. Joshua fought him in the United States and was so classy and respectful to him. I don't see why Ruiz wouldn't be fair about it and go to the UK. It would be a huge fight. I am hoping Joshua wins big in the rematch. I just don't know if he can just because of the hand speed of Ruiz. Once he starts to land that right Joshua did not have an answer. I was thinking Joshua should have a few more fights and let someone beat Ruiz and fight that guy. Just because the style of Ruiz might just be that weakness for him and Joshua has to learn how to hold when a guy is on him and work on his jab and head movement.
Not sure he should be driving a Rolls Royce around. He got paid what he got paid. Better win his next fight if he's taking that attitude. That said, he'll probably get paid some dunt to fight Joshua again. Will that be 50.50 you think?
This, plus the fact that if he comes to the U.K and he knocks Joshua out, he runs the risk of mysteriously "failing" a pre-fight drug test, with that snake Eddie Hearn moving heaven and earth to have the bout ruled a No Contest, and seeing to it that all of Ruiz's Heavyweight straps be stripped from him and simply handed to Joshua. Okay, the above is an exaggeration. But if recent events involving the BBBofC and UKAD have shown us anything, it's not an exaggeration by very much.
It’s a good interview I didn’t know he had been Boxing since the age of 6. Now that is the perfect time to start.
I think it's because the deck would be stacked totally in Joshua's favour. It wasn't as if the first one was a 'home' fight for Ruiz - Joshua had lots of travelling support and Ruiz was a stand-in. With the Whyte revelations (including the glove issue) I can understand why any fighter would be wary of fighting in the UK on a Matchroom show. Any sensible promotional outfit would try everything they could to prevent that happening. Ideally, I'd really like to see this fight somewhere neutral. I just want a fair test to see whether Ruiz can do it again or whether Joshua has an answer this time. I'd like to see that without any dodgy refereeing, secret failed drug tests or glove issues.
