    • Fights Joshua - wins by lucky punch, outclased in rematch - lets himself get fat, undisciplined, downplays AJ win because he "didnt even train"
    • Flat out ducks IBF Final Eliminator order fight for mandatory spot, vs Hrgovic 2 times
    • Fights Granpas Areola and Ortiz (who is highly ranked in the Ring magazine, even though he is 43 years old? why - to make Wilders record a little better, since he doesnt have many top 10 opponents)
    • Gets in 3 month negotiation to fight Filip Hrgovic and pulls out from the fight for the 3rd time this febuary, a fight which if he had won would guarante him Usyk that he is calling out for not fighing him.
    • WBC orders Wilder fight a year ago, maybe more, priced himself out.
    • Now he fell in all the ranking except Ring/Boxrec
      • IBF was number 2>14
      • WBO number 1>2
      • WBC number 2>5
    • Isn this the same case as Fury? All talk, no fights, but Ruiz gets smacked, Fury still holds the belt

He is for sure next hamburgerman of Hw division...

But for real. He got massive financial requirements and weak ambiton. He is not avoided. He's just looking for money.

He won 1 lottery ticket and act like this dude who belive he can win again, again, again and again.

I’d like to see ruiz vs Hughie fury, nice clash of styles and a good crossroads fight

Ruiz has too high a price tag these days

He clearly isn't worth it as no body is signing him to fights

Thats what I mean that fighters get paid too much. Ruiz ironically isnt hungry enough and just looking for one fight paydays every now and then.

I like Andy and still I think this is absolute rubbish. He is just shockingly inactive. Come December he will have only fought twice in four years. After losing the Joshua rematch in December 2019, he hasn’t stepped in the ring until May 2021. Then his next and up until today last bout was over a year later that - which is over a year ago now, September 2022.

He can’t possibly believe that this is all because everyone with a pulse is ducking him.

Right. Nobody wants to pay him $20 million ... that's not the same as nobody wants to fight you.

The guy just prefers to count his money, eat burgers and talk about being champ once than being active.
It should be no surprise Ruiz is basically A lazy guy with enough money to not care about working hard fir another titleshot.
Hell, I wouldnt be surprised if Fury fights him at one point even if he has been so inactive. Wbc still rates him highly.

That's actually great idea! But like many other great idea it will never happend...
I dont know what's going on with Hughie but I guess he will be interested in that fight (if he is Smart). Other case with Ruiz. He will never risk loss on points to dude who is Mr. Nobody in division.
Andy sooner accept Wilder fight than smth like that.

    Two fights in 4 years.

Yes, that is how inactive he is.

The HW division is continuing to lose popularity and interest unless the promoters and TV companies can start holding HW boxers to account.

Ruiz Jr with his physique is also a bad look for the division. The promoters should just bin him off and replace him with one of the many younger in shape HWs who can fight twice per year.

He also 'priced himself out' of the Fury fight. He's not Usyk, so was lucky to get the fight and with no belts.

Literally nobody would be scared of him as he is short, fat and has low power at HW, yet would be a 'name' on the resume.

I used to really like Andy. He's got quick hands and makes good use of angles. Definitely one of the most skilled HWs in recent years.

But he is sooooo lazy. Just looking for a big cash out even after poor performances against old Arreola and absloutely ancient Ortiz.

It's backfired as he's priced himself out.

He needs money to put (additional) food on the table for his family.
