Expect the fast fatty to produce a string of knockout victories, starting against the always game TBA at February 3rd. With the notorious Memo Heridia behind him and without that pesky VADA enrollment, this man is going to make some waves in the division. At least Wilder has nothing to fear right? Because despite Ruiz' Mexican roots, the WBC wouldn't rank him in their top15 anytime soon because of their rules, right?! Right?
Actually if you see pictures from him on his social media he is no longer fat and is in a lot better shape. And that is pictures over the course of the past 6 months until recently. If this means he has better stamina (which would not be difficult), then he steps right in as a top 10 HW off the bat. You could argue if he was in the kind of shape he is in now against Parker, then he would have edged the decision in that fight.
Ruiz has the fastest hands in the HW division and decent power. If he's in shape and motivated he could cause problems for anyone. I had his fight with Parker a draw.
Looking foward to this, im a fan of Ruiz, its good to see him looking in shape...he definitely gonna cause problems in the division!
Wtf I can't stand this guy. I want to see him lose but now he's going to be Ruiz 2.0 dammit I predict the good ol "He ate tainted Mexican meat no PED's, he's clear"
Andy Ruiz is my favourite heavyweight, he has an exciting style. He has to be a bit more vocal to get people's attention. Look what baby miller has achieved by shouting his mouth off. He's Mexican too which is a rare breed in heavyweight so he has a nailed on audience if he's promoted right.
If he's still a heavyweight he's still fat. If he's no longer fat he's a cruiserweight, or even light heavyweight.
