I think Tua is a more composed fighter. More defensively aware and at the same time possessing the speed and power to brawl inside with Ruiz. But Tua was never a champion and Ruiz (thanks to an upset against Joshua) became a unified champion, if that means anything. How do you think this fight plays out? I think Tua scores a KO here.
Tua would knock out Ruiz so hard! I don't know if it would be early or late, but he would connect at some point and leave Ruiz limp on the canvas.
If Andy's last name was "Marquez", "Alvarez" or even "Villegas", people would give him a much better chance in this fight.
You always seem to overestimate Ruiz's chin. He's getting knocked out. His cement feet just aren't of any use to be able to keep away from Tua and during one of the times they get into and exchange Ruiz will get caught with something big and finished off. Tua has flaws. Ruiz can't exploit them. Tailor made for Tua
Yes I’d favor Tua 10/10. I just don’t think it’d be all that great of a fight since these two plumps both have no problem fighting at a slow pace.
