Fedosov being more active the past several years would have aided him greatly... Even now and in the near future he's just blowing cans out. No real in the ring time.

It does take years in most cases to get into true ring ready shape for the world level or anything approaching it.

Ruiz on the flip side has been very, very active which is a big positive for him.

Pretty sure Ruiz Jr fought Liakovich with a broken R hand that hurt in camp.

Should he have handled him with the L alone?????:think

IDK. Maybe. But It was still a win. And Ruiz Jr will hopefully take his training seriously and use the once promising, Arreola career as a reason to take camp and between fight time off, more seriously. :good

Irrelevant. Liakhovich is YEARS past his best, and clearly didn't train very hard for Ruiz but was still able to arguably fight to a draw(he did on my card at least) IB had it 6-4 for Ruiz, as did one of the judges. Ruiz is not going to go far in the division, he's a sideshow attraction and AT BEST a fringe contender, I'm not sure i'd rate him as top 50 HW h2h best on how he look against Liakhovich. Maybe Arum can turn him into another Butterbean, and feed him a diet of tomato cans to keep the KO parade going and generate interest in him.. Because Ruiz is going anywhere. he's found his level.

Hope your'e wrong, b/c when he's putting his shots together, he's got impressive handspeed and power. Just gotta kick those bad habits between bouts.

I'll take him seriously if he drops about 30-50, and comes in to fight at 210-225. Realistically he could be fighting at CW, or maybe even LHW if he didn't have the massive gut. He's got flashy/good hands, but doing that against cabdrivers, and world level operators are two entirely tasks.

240 would be perfect for him.

27lbs lighter than his last fight. Enough to aid him in footspeed, but not hinder his punch resistance and still have enough weight to not be pushed around by the Hughie's, Tereshkins, Brazeales etc...the 6'6+ guys he's gonna be fighting in the coming era in which he'll be contending in.

    He is only 25 afterall.:good
