Who's the better fighter & who wins if they fight? I got Whyte by UD. Another fight at heavyweight well likely never see
Ruiz Jr is more skilled but he lost 3 rounds to Kingpin on the judges scorecards, which is not a good sign. At this stage, I think Whyte takes it by decision as well.
Whyte has improved and has done so much since his loss to Joshua. Siding with hearn was the best idea ever. Now Ruiz is having more fights but Top Rank don't want to throw him in big fights, I even doubt that he will fight Jennings next.
Ruiz did well vs Parker but Parker was green then and his defence is much improved since that fight, so I think current Parker beats him more convincingly. Whyte showed vs Chisora that he doesn't like being pressured and Ruiz Jr isn't a good style match up for him and Ruiz despite his weight issues does throw at a pretty good work rate when he can get in range. But I also think Whyte has improved a little since Chisora, he moves a little better and his counter punching is sharper. Ruiz will be competitive but he'll lose a decision.
Really interesting fight. I can see Ruiz with his fast hands causing Whyte lots of problems. All depends on Ruiz's conditioning. If fully fit and motivated i slightly favour Ruiz.
He has improved a lot in certain areas like his punch selection has improved, but his career since aj is a lot of smoke and mirrors every fighter he has fought has had a shortened camp in part I believe because hearn and his team no his stamina and fitness is a major weakness. apart from parker fight I don’t really rate his wins that highly since his loss to aj I thought Del Boy won the first fight but I do think whyte will win the next one. On the Ruiz fight I think ud for whyte think he would rough him up plus the fight would clearly be in England so Ruiz would get screwed on the cards anyway, but I think Ruiz fast hands and superior skills would give whyte fits.
would be a good fight. ruiz Looks like a fat mexican taxi Driver...…...but can actually fight. real impressed with his accurace and Speed. i´d pick whyte by decision,.....but wouldnt put any Money on it!
Whyte. Ruiz has good handspeed and is a good boxer, but isn't active enough. Whyte at least consistently fights, so I think that would make the difference if they fight.
Losing by a point or two to a motivated Parker in New Zealand is just as good as winning via headbutt knockdown against a disinterested Parker in England.
Ruiz is ass, he is a fat slob. Whyte by UD or late stoppage after he would wear him down with orangutan body shots to the wobbly belly.
Not long ago many thought Whyte a fat ,no skilled boxer on this forum and was telling me whytes not a real top guy and had Ruiz in their rankings of top 10 over him ? No Ruiz wouldn't beat whyte unless Whyte had a severe health issue or made an agreement not to throw left hand power shots and only use straight rights which /whyte hasn't figured out importance of feet positioning to help steer his straight right.
