I saw this fight recently. I wouldn't say Bowe brutalized him. In fact, I would say Bowe looked awful. Hide's chin just couldn't take anything from Bowe once he did land. Too powerful. But Hide looked good for a bit. Fast, good technique. Bowe looked slow, ponderous, very flat.

Utter bull****. Typical of fighters to not give credit to the guy who really ****ed them up. "I knocked Hide out so I am comfortable giving credit to him to sound humble. Golota beat me from pilar to post and badly hurt me and knocked me down in two fights, so **** him, Hide hit harder".

As quick and heavy fisted Hide was Ruiz would exploit Hide's chin and KO him within 5 Rounds.

    Ruiz KO1.

Hide was, at his very best, a euro-level porcelain chinned CW who got obliterated every time he stepped up. He even got blown out by some bums too. I don't get where this resurgence of interest in him comes from.

Ruiz for all his faults has shown himself to be a top level HW with power and good skills.
