Morrison’s left hook was epic. That shot that caught Ruddock was BRUTAL

Ruiz would easily be a favorite. One guy had a chin and the other didn’t.

Morrison was a superb boxer with great power in his prime. I don't see Ruiz taking full on bombs for 12 rounds from The Duke without wilting. I mean old Arreola put Ruiz on his ass.

    Morrison competitive early KO.

    Great fight though!

I would favor Morrison to just outbox Ruiz at mid range and plant him eventually, although it's a very risky fight

    I don't trust Morrison's chin.

But he could land a bomb and end it early.

    50/50 for mine.

If Morrison were to win this fight, he would have to box perfectly like he did against Foreman.
Any time Morrison gets shaken up is a potential end to the fight.
Andy Ruiz Jr. has far better chin.

Tommy was the better and more powerful boxer but Ruiz’s chin is way way better. Morrison at his very best takes it for me in a back and forth fight. If he’s not at his best, Ruiz stops him.

I go with Ruiz. He has a chin and does have some pop. Fast hands and brave to let them go.

I’d go with Ruiz based on the fact that his beard seems stronger.

Tommy rarely ever threw bombs for 12 rounds; the man was a 5 round fighter. Ruiz isn’t much better, but he at least knows how to manage his energy and time his attacks.

He did against Mercer. Well 5 rounds. Lol. But Mercer was a Heavier puncher than Ruiz, and smaller too. Let's be honest Ruiz isn't a true HW so I don't see him hurting Morrison that often.

I feel Andy is kind of underrated here. Duke can't move like AJ or Parker did to outbox Ruiz and Ruiz has fast hands and a good chin.

Its a very good point, although Morrison was better at going to war than AJ or Parker, except for when he was fighting a monstrous puncher. Ruiz' timing and handspeed would present a bigger problem for Morrison than his power/Morrisons weak chin, but I think maybe 8/10 times Tommy is too much for Ruiz, especially roided to the gills as he was
