160 is probably his best shot, although at the moment the only fighter he should possibly be looking at is Sturm. He's probably hoping either Pavlik or Abraham or both move up to 168 and vacate (unlikely that AA will though)
Good to see Lee getting some work in and scoring a TKO over a credible opponet in Gibbs I hope he builds some confidence of this gets about 2 more fights agianst maybe a Elvin Ayala then a Gary Lockett before fighting Vera agian.
When you Lee and havent beat noboddy a guy like Lockett whos just fought for the Middleweight Championship thats pretty credible.
He needs to take his time, Lockett wouldn't be a bad choice, at least it would give an indication of where he is compared to the main man in the divison.
lockett should never have been in the ring for the mw title the only reason he got a shot was because his trainer was enzo and his promoter was warren ... just because you fought for a title and got ko'd in 3 does not make you a credible opponent, pavlik was the first guy he has fought above a c level fighter.
Overall, this was a perfect fight for Lee- there's still plenty to work on but he looked good, got plenty of rounds in, and showed improved conditioning. He's still not in as good a shape as he'll need to be in, but it looks like he's bounced back nicely from the Vera fight. Personally, I don't think Vera's camp is too interested in a rematch anyways although it's a fight that should happen.
