Anyone else feel a bit sorry for Lee.

He was really honest and just said that none of his punches had any effect on Jr. and that Jr. was just too big and too strong for him.

I wonder what will happen in his career now. Fighters now know that he will crumble if they can take it to the inside. He looked very sad and disappointed. He got thoroughly beaten.

Lee v Macklin would do big numbers in Ireland, would it not?

It would be massive especially if it was held in Limerick. I wouldnt blame him for sounding down after a fight like that. Jr was supposedly the weakest of the alphabet champions and he walked through Lee's shots like they were ****in fanny taps.

I feel bad for him but its because a world title fight was so long coming that when it finally came and he failed it became a huge blow. Just another reason why guys need to fight the best to find their level and if need be, take a step back, rebuild and go again.

He still has big fights in him though - other champs, Macklin etc

Credit to Chavez though, he just walked through everything.

I don't believe Chavez Jr. is the weakest champion by any means i do believe Murray would of handled JCC Jr. style alot better.

I disagree. Chavez tenacity and durability would be too much for Murray and he'd beat him up and break him.

Well wouldn't you be?He blew his biggest chance.

At one point in the corner Manny Steward told him ''This is it man. There ain't gonna be another chance''.

    He might be right.

I reckon Lee ended up with a broken/cracked/fractured jaw.

Yeah, he was a sight of misery with that towel over his head, face a bit mashed up. But, I seem to recall a lad named Willy Klitschmann, or maybe Walt. He was getting stopped when he shouldn't against a journeyman and a few lower level contenders. Then, one day, he became recognized as champion and still is, for about six years running, with nobody in sight favoured over him. You never know. I think Lee even knows Klitschmann's trainer. :think
