It's best to ignore Lirva. He changes his criteria to suit his particular rant.

Lee obviously isn't dreadful, but he's average and no more.

well average is an extremely relative term.

He is in the top 1% of active middleweights in the world, now that generally doesnt qualify as "average" in my book.

We're talking relative levels, I guess. I'm not sure how many active MWs there are, but being top 1% may not be the boast you think if the other 99% are genuinely appalling.

He's not top ten, that's for sure.

He's top 15. I doubt many would be putting their mortgages on the outcome of the fight between Murray, Barker, Saunders or any other British middleweight.

Saunders is still a prospect. But Barker, Macklin, Murray and Lee have all been found wanting as they stepped up.

    Murray is unbeaten.

As good the rest, so is it that if you dont win a world title you arent a "good" boxer anymore?

Did I say that? Why do people take a view and then leap to the extremes of it when trying to make a point.

I just don't think any of those guys are that good. Macklin is the best of the bunch though. Murray got a blatant gift with that draw against Sturm.

Lee is very average and has always been so. Just my opinion that the Steward connection garnered him much more interest than any of his fights.

Yes Lee beat him, winning 9 of ten rounds.

Belgacham caught him with a peach with half a minute to go, Lee never went down and survived the remainder of the round to win a landslide points win. I fail to see your point.

yes of course I do, because you arent making a valid one. Hence the reason you jump from one point to the next without concluding any discussion. That's classic trolling behaviour tactics.

Arent you getting a little old for this now? Seriously!?

:-(, in my day trolls used to put effort in their posts...., nowdays it's just short snippets of nonsense. Why couldn't you at least come up with a decent paragraph, and argue more than just one fight if you wanted to really wind quite a few people up. As it is, you've only managed to catch poor Slap (must be having an off day).

That's just poor trolling sir, up your game.

old for what exactly? pointing out that lee was holding on for his life vs a journyman? but thats ok because belgecham did well against barker (i don't remember barker holding on for his life though) and belgecham did beat the formidable woulid guerras which proves that there is no shame in lee holding on for his life against him

oh i forgot, lee wasn't holding on for his life according to you. in fact he wasnt hurt at all.

    my bad

Fight against Lee. Lee dominates for 9.5 rounds. Belghecham rocks Lee and does well to survive. At the time Belghecham was at a higher ranking than Lee.

Fight against Barker was close with many people thinking Belghecham shaded it. Belghecham started slow, but came back into the fight dominating the later rounds. He was robbed. Belghecham earned at least a draw.

Fight against Juien Marie Sainte. Didn't see it so can't comment.

Fight against Fitzer. Belghecham started slow (as he always does). The stoppage in the 5th Round was one of the worst I've seen. Nobody at the fight thought it was a stoppage. Belghecham was not hurt in the least.

So your point is a bull**** one as usual. No point quoting Boxrec records if you can't comment on the fights properly. By the way, are you still on the dole?
