boxings history is based on this....

    there's always been

    italian vs irish...

    mexican vs puerto rican

    black vs mexican....

    filipino vs mexican...

    the list goes on....

how many times has one said the other couldn't fight? or wouldn't beat them?

now all of a sudden because it's a pa ki stan i it's racist and off limits? gtfo. man up and prove him wrong....or go home with ur tail between ur legs.

You moron, do you think "P@kistinians can't fight" is all that he's said? He's been bringing up Khan's race and religion since the first day the fight was announced. When he tells Khan to **** off back to his country on a magic carpet, says his God is better than his, etc, it becomes a little more than a friendly national rivalry.

he didn't say his god was better.

sending him back on a magic carpet is pretty funny.

i didn't hear him call khan a terrorist....or a camel jockey....that would be racist. he simply stated he never met one of his ppl that could fight. big deal. he is obviously talking to get under khan's skin. apparently it's working...his fans are riled up too.

He straight up said "His god is a cruel god. Mine is a loving one".

    :huh

So, calling him a camel jockey is racist, but referring to him as a carpet-rider is ok? You do realise both are as bad as each other? Both take aim at connotations with his percieved background.

And of course he's getting under Khan's skin. He's bringing in his race/religion at every opportunity. But it doesn't make it right. It would be the equivalent of someone like Hatton calling Mayweather a spear-chucker just because he's black. Yeah, he would have got under his skin as well as his fans, but he would have crossed a line that shouldn't be crossed.

he said khan's god was a "punishing god" while his was a "loving god."

do i need to pull out my koran to back up the "punishing god" statement? i can pull out the old testament to prove his "loving god" statement wrong too. this is just one uneducated guys view on religion. why get all bent on his lack of understanding?

so when prince nazim rode in on a magic carpet he was being racist against himself?

prince nazim used to go on about allah being the only true god...where was the outrage for that?

i'll agree that there is a time a place for these type of discussions....but i don't believe that he's saying anything that is racist or anti muslim.

if i was khan....i'd simply say....ur church sanctioned slavery. more harm has been done in the name of ur god than any other god. then he would have won that argument.

Is he right though ? have there been any great indian/****stani/sri lankan / etc that part of the world boxers ? apart from Hamed I guess but he was arabian right yemeni.

Anyway as soon as you start bringing gods in to it you lose just look at hameds pre barrera religious nonsense and pacmans prior to bradley.
