    I totally agree with you Uncle Rico, but I made a thread yesterday and the general consensus is he had no choice but to take this fight because of the rematch clause. I didn't realize he couldn't just vacate the title, like Sergio did when he didn't want to fight a pointless mandatory. But apparently vacating the abc belt, to fight someone that would dry more interest wasn't a option.

    Danny Garcia will finish the calendar year off having fought three times.
    2012 - UD Morales, TKO4 Khan, ? Morales II

    I'd say that's a good year. And mid-October sets him up for an early defense in 2013.

    I see that it is a super old past prime Morales at a weight that Morales is not much at, but at the same time, Morales made it the distance against Garcia the first go around. Call me crazy, but I scored 4 rounds for Morales in the fight. It was a decisive fight, but one more worthy of a rematch than many of the rematches that happen. I don't think it's a crime if he doesn't fight Matthysse or move up in weight for his first unified defense after the biggest fight of his career just happened three months prior.

    He's 24 years old. It's like people who say Alvarez is a total fraud and hasn't accomplished anything, I just don't get it.
