Wasn't Khan supposed to spark him or did we forget what happened there?

I wouldn't go that far. I have no problem with a young fighter taking some easy fights between wars. Just so long as its not a string of cans and cherry picks.

Just don't say never again just because a guy gave you a tough time. If you believe you are truly the better man, have confidence in a rematch, and the the money and fan demand is there, what the hell reason would there be to fight a string of lesser guys for less money that add nothing to a legacy?

Not surprised. Danny was the clear victory, but it was a competitive fight and he took some hellacious punches

angel is the driving force behind his son danny.

he is just trying to market his son and garner attention to him tomake more money. nothing wrong with that as hes doing what his son cant as danny is not cut from that cloth.

i thought it was disrespectful what angel did to morales in his first fight but now come to enjoy what he brings to the promotion.

    and angel definately knows boxing.

he knew that danny could beat down the more physically gifted khan by timing him with the counter whereas nobody else believed so.

Garcia is one of my favorite fighter to watch. The guy is not that fast, he is not slik at all, but he is really skilled. He is really technical, both offensively et defensively. That fight was really good against Mattysse and yes the result might have been different if the cut didn't appeared. Garcia is still fairly young and has Morales, Juddah, Khan and Mattysse on his resume. Not bad. He is one of the best and it would be interesting to see him against Prodov indeed.

Bingo. Which, frankly, is good parenting. I wouldn't advise my son to get back in the ring with someone who did that kind of damage to him, either.

but you forget...danny was scared. he never had a chance. he was shook when he saw peterson get ktfo'd. he was supposed to lose by ko to matthysse.

danny was in the drivers seat the whole bout.

you have to understand that provodnikov and everyone else that can potentially be matched up with danny is a threat. angel is not going to give them anything, verbal or otherwise....before the fight. after the fight...he has shown nothing but respect for all of danny's foes.

garcia is the one who had the most room for improvement. matthysse is what he is...he's not changing much. i see danny beating him more convincingly in the rematch...maybe even by stoppage.
