Exactly. I don't have a lot of respect for anyone that uses that word, regardless of their race. Where have I claimed that it can be only used by black people? I find it offensive no matter who uses it. The fact that some black people are ignorant enough to make it part of their everyday vocabulary doesn't give a pass to other races in my opinion. That just makes them ignorant also.

 

Well we both agree that the word shouldn't be used by anyone if it is offensive.

But since we know that isn't the case today and blacks have decided to claim it, then they have no right to be offended if someone else uses. Until that day comes when they abusing the word and glamorising it, then they can't really be upset.

Angel Garcia has no doubt grew up in an environment where it was consistently used as an endearment.

Btw I've never seen you jumping into threads denouncing Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis, Floyd Mayweather and Adrian Broner who all have used the word contentiously throughout their career.

 

Please provide a link where any of the aforementioned fighters have used the term as freely in publicly promoting a fight as Garcia. Garcia is an ignorant a-hole and if that isn't readily apparent to you then there's nothing more to say to you on this topic. There's a difference though dummy I'm cool with gga but gger you better be ready to fight because that's what you're going to get and that goes for most blacks as well who feel the same way as I do. However, I could caution you to be careful in your use of it because some people take it as a sign of disrespect and will react accordingly.

 

Have just watched this Thurman/Garcia press conference video....the other version was barely audible. have to say that this is an absolute disgrace and embarrassment. I feel bad for Danny, seems like a good guy. But that **** was disgusting.

If anything, Thurman's strength of conviction and composure OWNED Angel's hateful flapping, flipping out, embarrassing-himself lack of control. He looked every inch the loser in this exchange.
