239 fights in a 23 year career, he competed in The Jr. lightweight thru Jr. Middle. . Fought luminaries such as Jose Napoles 2X, Ken Buchanan, Wilfred Benetiz, Estaban Dejesus, Ismael Laguna and Roberto Duran. Went the distance with all of them. Only stopped 3 times (on cuts) in 239 fights. Only knocked down 2X. Garcia deserves to get mentioned in everyone's top 5 best chins of all time IMO.
Garcia was not a fighter to get hit too much or to even try to hit the opponent much himself. Even then he did obviously have great durability to last the distance with all of them. Alfredo Urbina was the only man to knock him out.
I was jazzed about Robinson-Garcia when I first saw him train 'n fight in miami, MMj. With his slicked-back hair, standin' in the pocket, whippin' bolos, firin' combos back the few times he got tagged, thought sure he'd be the next Gavilan.
What about Billy Graham? 126 fights. Fought the likes of Kid Gavilan and Carmen Basilio and was never knocked off his feet/stopped once his entire career. You never hear him mentioned when the topic of 'chins' comes up. Juan LaPorte is another. His resume is incredible for title of greatest chin ever. Chava, Wilfredo Gomez, McGuigan, Pedroza, Nelson - the list goes on and on. Never down and never out.
Angel 'Robinson' Garcia Started off as a Featherweight in 1955, in Havana, Cuba. Later became one the most 'popular' fighters in Miami. Florida. A 'world traveler', who most definitely accumulated the most 'frequent flyer miles' of any boxer, ever. This content is protected
Don't see Graham's name too often,MB. As a fan of his, ya might wanna read W.C. Heinz's great boxing novel, THE PROFESSIONAL. The main character, Eddie Brown, a welter contender, is a thinly-veiled Billy Graham.

Dulio Loi was only dropped once in a career that extended for well beyond a 100 fights...And even then, that kd wasn't officially called. Freddie Miller was pretty durable as well. Only stopped twice in 240 plus fights
hector Camacho is another, such a lame brained punk, he's easy to hate. Fought KO artist luminaries such as Rosario, Duran, Leonard, Chavez Sr., De la Hoya, Tito Trinidad and was never KO'd. Not getting KO'd wasn't always attributed to his great reflexes either; Chavez, Trinidad and De La Hoya flat beat the crap out of him but couldn't put him away.
I always thought Joe Grim was regrded as having the best beard ever. http://www.supersport.com/boxing/blogs/ron-jackson/Joe_Grimthe_toughest_boxer_ever
Hector, for all his sissy looking ring apparel, was ALL MAN...and had balls the size of boulders for sucking up the beatings...esp. to JCC.
