Yes I did notice that Ali had very sturdy legs as did Foreman, Frazier and amongst todays fighters Pacquiao has really athletic legs. That is where a lot of their power is generated from. These are guys who run 5-6 miles several times per week and just naturally have bigger legs, not weight trained.
No kidding! Indeed it is a small world. I'm penning a book on the history of Pittsburgh boxing and Bossio of course is included. Yes, he was a tough little guy. I'd love to find a pic of he and Angelo from back then. If you or anyone knows how to contact Mr. Dundee please let me know:good
Angelo has a Facebook page and is very active on it. If you contact him and mention Mr. Bossio, I think there's a very good chance he'd get back to you. http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Of...of-Champions-Fan-Page/249550602634?ref=search
yes, life is strange..I did a little boxing those days, but i remember Bossio, not for his boxing , but for the fact I would see him[the shortest sailor] as a very good jitterbug dancer..I never saw him box, until after we were discharged, and I saw him box on early TV...And than I remembered Bossio the dancer...b.b.
