I wouldn't give Hyder too much stick. I think he's done well. I've seen Bohols provide fighters to a range of promoters that throw them in with blokes well heavier than them. This comes down to the STATE AUTHORITY on the night, whose job it is to safeguard the promotions/fighters and spirit of the game.

If any Promotional Crew needs to be slapped back to shitsville, it's Boxa.

 

AO.. Considering the monies generated by BOXA over the last 10 years, would you consider it fair for them to have continually made no purse garantee for undercard fighters, instead having them sell tickets instead? The profit margin has been a disgrace.

Career high pay days for 15 boxers means **** all Ashley. Do you know the PPV figures for each fight? Do you know the crowd numbers for each fight? Do you know how much each of Mundines opponents were paid?? NO!!!! So dont pretend its some kind of life giving exersize, especially when undercards are not even considered worthy of payment.

 

I don't think a lot of people realize the connections Ang has in the US.
He has helped out many aussie boxers in their ventures overseas due to the amount of people he knows especially in the states.
He's always willing to give somebody a leg up or give them advice about how to go about things when it comes to boxing.
I think the fact is that Ang isn't everybodys cup of tea so to speak and hes not afraid to speak his mind which rubs some people the wrong way.
Honestly to call him Australia's worst promoter is a bit rich to say the least:nono
I'm not saying hes the best and that he hasn't had some mis matched thais on his card but i don't think theres to many promoters who haven't been guilty of that old chestnut.:yep
I think virtually all boxers in Aus know that they will be paid and treated very well when fighting on one of H cards.

 

His contacts in Europe speak very highly of him also. Aussieopinion is obviously a Mandy hugger. His opinion of probably that of a leb.

Ang is one of the good guys in the serpent-world that Aussie fight promotion is.

 

If there is fixed fights thats no good for aussie boxing but saying that who would promote? you have all the elements of matching these guys and putting the $ up for the events .
