First of all i've already said that H isn't everybodys cup off tea so to speak but as far as i know fighters on his cards always get paid the cash there promised.unless of course you can produce a boxer that claims he wasn't paid or treated well?
If you havent met anyone whos a wrap for him in the boxing industry then you really need to meet some more people in the buisness cause hes helped a lot of people.
I know a lot of people don't like him but thats because he calls a spade a spade and hes usually straight to the point often bruising peoples egos in the process:yep
As for me naming people who are a wrap for Ang its pretty petty isn't it?
I mean i could sit here and name a heap of fighters such as Garlett,Kickett,Mostyn,Wills bros,Porky Lovett,Delise,Joel Burke.Sam Soliman i could go on but i couldn't really be ****ed cause ive got a poker tournament about to start.

its a bit of a double edge sword..
ive seen angelo at his worst. ive seen him verbally abuse referees,fighters even spectators, ive seen him physically assault and threaten judges. but ive also watched the time and effort hes put in to his fighters and just the sport in general whether its physically putting the ring together himself or organising prizes for charity, promoting boxing events all over the place.
he may rub alot of people up the wrong way but the fact is he does as much if not more for boxing than probably anyone in the game at the moment.
i look at him and just see a man consumed with a passion for boxing who sometimes makes mistakes. i know i couldnt do any better

The fighters i've mentioned are people who H has helped...so i have no idea why your calling them "****" cause these so called **** fighters would give you one left jab and you'd be on the floor:hi:.
Ang has trained Vic and Danny to world titles,Big Bob to the Aus heavywewight title and has also been in Mike Tyson's corner so i don't think theres to many other trainers in Aus with those sort of credentials so for all of his faults he must be doing something right for aussie boxing.

 

LJD, yes hyder has got some aussie fighters fantastic oppertunities , what you left out though was not before taking his cut. Just for having the contacts and making a phone call. Its bussiness, he wasnt doing it out of the goodness of his heart, heres another example for you..

Around the 90s, Angelo put on a pro/am show in blacktown RSL club. One of the fighters was promised a specific sum for his bout, after the show he was given HALF of this by Angelo and Angelo said he didnt do well on tickets etc. So to say Angelo always pays what he says is rubish, ive witnessed it first hand that he does not, if his promotions fall on thier azz or dont generate enough money he short changes the boxers, he doesnt reach into his own pocket and make up the shortfall as he should and as your making out he would.

honorable is not one of his finer qualities. I could tell you a few more other stories but i think its best i just leave it at that for now.

I don't doubt your story about someone not fully getting paid for some rsl gig back in the 90's but theres always 3 sides to the story my friend.
What i will say is that on several occasions Ang has put money into his own pocket and paid fighters even when he's run at a loss and he has on many occasions use his contacts overseas to help out Aussie fighters for no fee whatsoever.
See the difference between me and you is that you hear stories and treat them as gospel,i prefer to listen to boxers and get the word straight from there mouth instead of relying on gossip and facebook for my boxing info:good
