I dont doubt your story that he didnt take a cut in getting SOME fighters oppertunities however i know from one fight he got someone in Germany he pocketed 5k and all he did was make a few phone calls, i didnt get this off facebook either lol.. the diffrence between you and i is that i chose to speak up on what i know, i dont butter any of it up.

Sure he has done some good but you cant just butter up and ignore all the bad thats been done either. That would be bias and hypocritcal of you.

For someone who is a well established figure in boxing for a very very long time he doesn't half talk some absolute nonsense.

using his contacts + networks = getting paid!
so he took $5k, how much did the fighter get, what opportunity and would they have got it without hyder? doubt it!

rigged fights? tell us more then? as tccoxsucka says, money where your mouth is, or shut it?

Boxon123, I wouldn't read into what Ashley writes too much.

BOXA may have given 15 Aussie fighters career record pay days, but BOXA also raked it in, by fighting in Australia, promising the world, delivering rubbish, and fighting Aussies that the public payed to see, in hope of seeing Mundine KO'd. Mundine being potentially KO'd was the greatest incentive to their earnings.

BOXA also stayed at home, as they are worth ZILCH O/S.

They've done very well, and congratulations to them, yet it's not a venture we'd like to see repeated for such a duration again.

Do you not think his career path way astray... considering the hyped up promises and his own legitimate ability? Do you not think that talent should have been furthered, or genuine successes reached?

Think about it.. in the 'interim'. :D

I'm sure those legendary aboriginals, Jerome, Richards, Sands, Bennett, Sinn, Hassen etc. would all be pleased at the money he's made. I'd also bet they'd be delirious at the hype.

I can only talk from the times ive met him, he seems like a good guy. He loves boxing and does more for the sport in this country than just about anyone else i can think of.

Angelo Hyder iis the smartest bloke in australian boxing if you work with him you know how good he is . Out of all the fights ive cornered if I didnt have H with me alot of the results ive had would be differnt. You are entitled to your opinion but **** your a thick ****.

nothing wrong with making money its his job but its worth pointing out when trying to paint a picture of someone who helps everyone out for free when its simply not the case.

the only negative thing i would have to really say personally is that i dont agree with the selling of tables, its a similar format to what mundine does and allows fighters to hand pick opponents to fight on fox tv. Fighter A sellers 4k worth of tables, he keeps 1.5k for himself and pays his opponent 1-1.5k, the opponent is hand picked by fighter A and in most cases ends up being a miss match or imported taxi driver.

other than that id have to agree with everything thats been said on a positive note, i dont know anything about match fixing other than the miss matches already stated that come with the nature of allowing fighters to hand pick opponents. H isnt an old school matchmaker, he is an old school bussiness man with alot of connections.
