Keep your eye on them. The hardest work they'll do, is in reaching the top. Retaining that mantle is based on what they've done in getting there.... and remembering the hard work themselves.

I reckon Hyder is certainly a boxing 'brain' with a real instinct for the game....personalites are personalites and no everyone likes everyone...but in pure boxing terms he's sharp as a tack....I've been close to his corner acouple of times and his instruction is spot on....at a guess I'd reckon he's had a influence over Craig Christian in a mentor/tutor type role....I've seen him overcall Christian a couple of times in the corner and Craig seemed pretty happy to allow it...love him or hate him Aussie boxing needs blokes like Hyder.

 

A couple going by the names 'Crack' and 'Ice' from the looks of it.

Patrick was a lovely guy, I showed him the boxrec website so he could check out his old profile with his son. I also printed off a copy and gave it to Jimmy when I was down his way a few years ago, they loved it.


As for Angelo I was at a fight down the Gold Coast when he was training Bob, he was very vocal during the fight. I had a brief chat and he seems like a great, down to earth guy.

I'm sure the brief chat went very well.
