Hyder hit Bob Mirovic alot harder than he hit Green last night. Mirovic fighting with Hyder in the corner = quality viewing. Used to thoroughly enjoy Hyder waking up the Croatian Bear from hibernation.
Can blame the corner or say that green was "flat". But i thought hyder did alright, told green to try a few different things. Possibly the game plan wasnt the greatest but i dont really know. Tarver simply was too good and dint allow danny to work, credit must be given for that..... obviously green catching the lefts with his face didnt help his confidence/ offense.
There is no point in giving instructions to your fighter if you dont know how to effectively deliver said instructions.
Hyder did nothing wrong on the night, except for slapping Green like his *****, totally uncalled for and achieves nothing, telling Greens brother to shut up wasn't the smartest move the guy has ever made and might hurt his pocket in the future. The biggest mistake Hyder made was to get Tarver out here in the first place thinking Green was better, he gets his fighters taxi cab drivers all there careers and then gives Green a guy like Tarver, a guy who as far as boxing talent goes lives on another planet. Hyder was trying to be tricky again and get a name like RJJ as a kill unfortunately for them Tarver wasn't dead yet, they should have checked for a pulse.
Hyder was giving good advice but Green couldn't or didn't follow it up. When they got Tarver they thought he was the fat shot fighter of his last fight at H/W.
i didnt think he was as shot as people said, but i also underestimated his power and ring IQ. Ive got a lot of respect for tarver, he conducted himself with class whilst he was here and from all reports was an absolute gentleman to anybody who met him
The last fight of Tarvers did that, even got the bookies hook line and sinker everyone thought he was shot, even i did initally until i investigated further. Only worry was if it was Dannyweight or not, dnt think it would have matterd anyhow, Tarvers is an entire diffrent class than Caveman Danny lol
As WhataRock said, I dont think he was giving him the wrong advice. Green has always struggled to successfully execute a game plan that steers him away from his usual. For mine, Hyder's advice wouldnt have been no magical elixir even if Green could have executed it well. Green was just up against a guy that had his number.
