It makes sense. Angulo can't get into the US, and GBP can promote fights in Mexico (while Shaw can't really). I doubt too much happens with him as long as he's having his visa problems though.

Thats good news. He was just getting better when he did his adios amigos and sent to Mexico. 154 just got a hell alot more interesting. Can't wait to see him with Cintron, Lara, or Canelo.

Hopefully they'll get him a couple of fights in Mexico before his visa issues are resolved and he gets back into the mix at 154.

He might never be the top guy and he won't end up in Canasota but he makes for exciting fights and isn't that what it's all about?

I'd like to see him against Molina then, if he wins, Canelo.

He doesn't have "visa issues." He committed crimes while in the country illegally. California is the most liberal state when it comes to illegal immigration, so for him to get tossed from here he must have felony charges pending. Most likely violent.

I know GBP has deep pockets and connections, but is he worth enough down the line to shell out huge sums of money and time? Probably not.

I look for him to get a couple of paydays down in Mexico then get fed to Canelo towards the end of his deal.

I am thinking they can use Angulo as a paid assasin. For example lets say that Vanes is itching for Canelo. Golden Boy will let him face their mad dog Angulo and soften him up a bit.

Jeez I can't wait to see Canelo back in the ring. Come one Golden Boy, make up for that **** up with your belts, by putting Angulo's direction in the right.

Back in the day, Fritzie Zivic bought Charle's Burley's contract so he wouldn't have to face him in the ring. Same thing here, Canelo now doesn't have to face Angulo.
