After resolving immigration issues that kept him from competing in the United States for over two years, Mexicali’s Alfredo “El Perro” Angulo (20-2, 17 KO’s) is looking forward to resuming his professional career in the States. A 30-year-old former WBO interim junior middleweight world champion, Angulo had been held for eight months in the El Centro Immigration Detention Facility before finally being released.

Wow, I had no idea. He is an upstanding guy and their wasting his time there seems almost evil.

Do they have any educational opportunities in these facilities?

None according to him they could do some work making $1.00 dollar a day just a shame how they exploit these people. Watch the video with ESPN (Spanish) where he explains the living conditions in the facility.
