Seeing as how both fighters are badass mexicans who are known to be able to dish out a shitload of punishment, who wins this fight if it were to happen in about a year or two's time?
Angulo is a better version of Margarito...already. He whoops his ass. I bet he whoops his ass in sparring. He is a Margarito that actually has good punch technique.
I'll say Margarito for now based on experience.. Give Angulo some time and it'll be a war.. He's still a bit green, but I like his future..
Given more time, I might lean towards Angulo. Margo depends on his size, strength, and chin too much for me to pick him easily against a guy like Angulo despite the difference in what each has accomplished. Margo is for the most part tailor-made for Angulo, who may be stronger, hits harder, and throws straighter punches. All-out war is what this would be, like I said, given some more time I would probably favor Angulo. As it is, he is just a prospect where as Margo is one of the better champions in the sport.
Right now Margo would knock him out badly. Gutierrez had Angulo out on his feet with a sloppy looping left but did not capitalize.
well right now i dont think anyone would argue that margarito beats angulo even at 154. the question is do you think in a year or two's time that angulo will improve enough and margarito will decline due to age enough that angulo could win?
Angulo is basically a bigger, stronger and harder-hitting version of Margarito but he lacks the experience. He'd lose at this point in time I feel.
Margo by stoppage. Angulo was backing up early against Tsurkan and although he brutally beat him in that fight i doubt he could handle the pressure Margo would be applying, i don't think he has the power to hurt Margo either.
