Angulo looked very impressive the other night, it may be abit early but how would you think he fairs against Santos right now? Thoughts:think
I haven't seen much of either but from what i have seen i would heavily favour Santos, Angulo isn't at that level.
I agree but Angulo shows alot of promise. Also 154 isnt that deep. If they did fight I imagine it would be a war:yep
Santos by KO. Angulo is too green to fight him right now but maybe when he reaches 22 fights he might be able to beat maybe by KO too.
It isn't that shallow when you think about it, it just lacks hyped/famed fighters. You have a guy like Santos who has wins over arguably the best of the welterweight division (a sizeable welterweight too). Some quality fighters they just lack star pulling power.
Well I think youre underestimating Angulos skill, ability and chin just a tad.......I think Angulo is much more skilled, busy and powerful than Campas who gave Santos all he could handle:deal
True however if Santos can hurt Margarito then he can hurt Angulo as well. Santos is also mobile and has great power. I see Angulo doing well but I still see Santos winning by ko. Angulo has a tough time with good mobile boxers who can hit. He only does well against guys coming at him and obviously Santos won't be doing that. I like Angulo though. I think he is gonna win a world title and keep it for a while.
Angulo is a a bloodbath ready to happen.. His eyes will never allow him to become elite. (His caveman brow is not ideal for boxing) W/ Santos southpaw/Headbutt style.... It spells "Clash of...." by round 4
Santos is too tricky for Angulo, IMO. I'm not sure how well Angulo could handle his southpaw counterpunching style. There's a reason his handlers have never put him in with a guy who can counter well. Fight will never happen though, or at least not until Santos is faded. Santos probably only has one or two good years left in him, which is a shame, because he's the kind of guy who would give almost anyone fits.
