I have only seen two of his fights but he looks extrememly average! Maybe people will disagree... but i think even the Viper at his age would absolutely destroy this guy

I heard they're trying to match him up with Cintron and I think that's great. As soon as the triple header ended, I started thinking about Angulo/Cintron, what a goot scrap it would be. Both fighters will always have problems against slick boxer puncher types but against fellow brawlers, they'll look good. They match up nicely.

Cintron vs Angulo would be fun. Kermit Cintron makes anything fun especially if you dislike him.

As per Angulo getting "schooled", I think that's the general comment which most brawlers isn't it? Hence why they're brawlers and not boxers.

Noobdy expects Angulo to clean out 154...but with his workrate, power, ability to put his punches together properly, composure and generall overall skill set he's kind of a thread to anybody. The problems with Angulo is that he's ridiculously flat flooted and slow. Sergio Martinez would be the 2nd to last guy I'd put him in there with.

If he doesn't knock out Cintron outright then I do see him wearing him down and making him quit. I would like to see his chin tested a bit more before I'm ready to jump completely on the Angulo bandwagon. It seems he was stunned a bit by Richard Gutierrez who I think is a decent puncher but certainly not a great one.

Angulo is a tough dude, but he's flat footed and doesnt have great defense. Classic puncher. He seems like he's got a decent beard. I dont think slick guys, with fast hands, and good footwork will have too much trouble with him.

So you guys expect tough, aggressive, big-hitting pressure fighters to be schooled counter-punchers aswell do you?

He is what he is, he might not be skilled but there's a **** load of schooled, technical boxers out there that he would knock the **** out.

Hey, I'm not shitting on him. He's a tough dude and I like him. I like his style, I'm just giving my honest opinion about what I think will happen if he's ever matched with a slick guy with good footwork and handspeed.

Thing is HOW many slick 154 guys are there right now?

Sergio Martinez is pretty much it other than Dzinzuruk...but I'm pretty sure they'll keep Angulo far far away from both of those guys.
