Hey **** boy, I've always been a Kirkland fan from day one, before and after the ishida fight, I bet Vcash and bet my brother a small $20 that jk would win and guess what he won, so I guess I'm in the minority who knew James would win...

What would Angulo do differently in a rematch? I like Angulo. But, the tougher, more determined fighter won last night. No excuses. Props to Kirkland.

im gonna tell you the truth, I was looking forward to the fight and knew in my gut that it would be a foty candidate however long it lasted, and I also thought angulo would win violently. I was at his fight against harry joe yorgey. couple that with kirkland's showing against ishida, and how could you not think kirkland would get knocked out? if you aren't ******ed and you look past all of the peripheral issues, I think it's safe to say that you never know what's gonna happen in a boxing match, and you can never underestimate a person's will. last night's fight exemplified that. also, call me crazy, but I think anne wolfe is honestly one of the best trainers out there. she might not be a technician but she knows how to train someone for a fight, simply put, and train them well.

Kirkland is a beast if you allow him to survive the first round or two.

And his punching power is legit and he is a ****ing natural southpaw, not some converted pretender.

If you don't get him out of there when he's cold out of the dressing room he can and will take you to war and he can and will out-man and out-gun you.

Give respect when someone deserves it, bunch of losers here on ESB dont give respect to no one no matter what they do, Kirkland was underdog and fought good, great jab nice conditioning it is possible that first round KO loss was a fluke, however he deserves respect!

Kirkland fans call me a hater, but Angulo didn't look right before he even got put on his arse. He looked like a very poor mans Margarito in there last night. How he threw his punches extremely slow and everything. You could tell he was either drained, ill, or didn't train from the fight, because as a professional fighter, you don't wing shots for a minute and thirty seconds and then gas, unless one of the previously mentioned things is wrong with you.

Nah honestly I thought so too. Watch the first round again, before the first knockdown. Kirkland was being more effective.
