first angulo gets outboxed by cintron-ok: he is slow, poor defense, lack of fundamentals(but he hits hard, goes forward.exellent stamina and have an iron chin)-now he gets brutally knocked down and shows poor conditioning and stamina.I dont know how he will handle a rematch.
mexicans are very sensitive since last night.Angulo represented the best example of the mexican warriors old school-a new margarito-in times when their champs are only invented by the corrupted boxing organization.Canelo and chavez jr are ppv's jokes.Arce is old and wont last holding that belt.Mares is good but no that good.Margo is done.Morales will never be the same.Mike Garcia is possible the best out there these days but has still a lot to prove.I understand the pain they are going thru.Peace

Take it easy Saul, it's just boxing. You know I'm telling the true,I dont care about mikey and gamboa, talking about fact.I don't hate mexicans boxers but it's sad to see the champs coming from Mexico these days.No more Chavez , morales , Barrera , Sanchez ... Only JMM remains from glorious times and you know it.
Regarding cubans ; they have a long way to go and a lot to prove but they aren't hiding behind their promoters protecting their records.
    Best regards my friend

Who's fault is it that Angulo tired himself out 2 minutes into the fight? Who's fault is it that he hasn't fought in 2 years? There's capable fighters that could have fought El Perro in Mexico. Forget a rematch. They both can move on to other fighters.

Angulo's best chance against Kirkland will ALWAYS be in the first couple of rounds. After Kirkland gets warmed up, it's all James Kirkland. For one, Angulo can not fight going backwards. Kirkland is stronger, faster & most importantly better conditioned. Angulo HAD to get him out of there as soon as an opportunity presented itself because he was being backed up since the beginning of the fight. Angulo prolly gets ko'd earlier. He doesn't have any defense. May not be the same fighter. Great chin, but you can't let a guy like James pound on you. Those accumulation of punches will get you out of there

Kirkland seems to be too fast for Angulo. I give Angulo credit for staying in there, but he would probably not beat Kirkland in a rematch. I don't think Kirkland's chin is so great, so Angulo might land a lucky punch, but chances are Kirkland wins by stoppage again.

50/50 on the rematch. im not convinced kirkland runs over a fully prepared angulo.

inactive who has had all sorts of issues and had to get left overs training from a trainer he normally doesnt train with. if you'd watch enough of Angulo, you would see he wasn't the same angulo that earned him his name in the sport. same goes for the kirkland that fought ishida. either way, angulo is responsible , he paid the price and got punished for making some bad mistakes and taking kirkland lightly.

excuses. Kirkland was even more inactive. Kirkland just beat him at his game. Kirkland beats any version of angulo. Nacho said they had a very successful and hard training camp.

Both guys have had bad outings. Kirkland the fight before, Angulo this fight. Both were out of the ring for too long. Both lack good defensive skills and both have power. Just like Kirkland, I think Angulo needs to get back into the groove and his handlers made a miscalculation. Same as Kirkland's did. I'd flip a coin if they fought again.
