http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?cat=boxer&human_id=288697 What an embarrassing resume Angulo has. He should stay down in Mexico beating up cab drivers and fall-men like CHavez Jr and his father before him. Viva la Raza!!! Lol.
I agree with the first part Kirkland did redeem himself somewhat but he still got drop in the first and is it amazing that he goes from hype job to monster in one fight and still not 100 sold on Kirkland. However Kirkland won that fight and all the points you made about "Angulo had only fought one round since July 7th of 2010 so he obviously had some ring rust" True maybe that played a part but they still have boxing in mexico if he wanted tune up fights to he got his visa problems worked out and "He exhausted himself out in the first round. He flat out just blew his wad within those 2 minutes and Kirkland never let up once he had him hurt" thats again on Angulo he's a professional boxer he should have fought smarter and Kirkland just keep coming and wanted it more.
I agree with this. He jumped on Angulo and was backing him up. Hell even when he got knocked down in the first he had Angulo backed up by the ropes. I picked Angulo to KO Kirkland mostly because I thought he wasn't the same fighter after prison but before he went to prison I picked Kirkland to stop him.:-(
Kirkland gets props for showing he could take Angulo's punches. He didn't take them the best, but he took them when almost nobody gave him a chance. Angulo has a chance in a rematch because he's a puncher and this is boxing, but there's no definite winner in a rematch IMO yet. Anything can happen in boxing and I don't think Kirkland is that much better than Angulo.. The way they fight, either can be caught and the fight stopped at any moment.
