Trainers, like coaches in other sports, are only as good as the fit between them and their pupils. Larry Brown, Bill Belichek, Joe Torre, etc have had tremendous success and significant failures, much of this depends on theirnstyle relative to the needs of the athletes for which they're responsible for. I would rather play for Bob Knight than John Calipari, I'd rather play for Ozzie Guillen than Joe Torre, doesn't mean they're better just that they would get more out of me because I like an ******* coach. Her methods would be great for some guys shitty for others, just like Emmanual Stewart, Brother Nazim, or Roach. It's more about fit than anything else, she and Kirkland are the right fit.

I know I'm a Bute's fans, it's just that it shows what I'm talking about.

Look how they make sure each movement is what it's suppose to be to isolate the muscle you want to train, look at his fitness trainer telling him to improve his movement. Now you dont do boot camps, you do quality training to make sure you train what you need. Anyway, I garanty you that any quality boxer are doing these kind of training, not what we saw from Wolfe.

Comparing Laila to her father favorably as a fighter is an interesting position to take. Laila did fine but was not really ever at a professional level compared to her father. She got a very late start and lacked alot of basic skills, so comparing her to the most accomplished fighter of all times is kind of out there. As for Ann Wolfe ducking the biggest payday out there your full of ****. Common sense says your writing fairy tails. Wolfe is a crazy person that would come out of retirement in a minute if someone would pay her well to fight.

It seemed like she was overdoing it, or playing to film crew. Maybe she is different when cameras are not around, I thought she was going for a stereotype of ghetto girl/marine drill sergeant combo.

And from the women coach I know, unfortunately they need to be a little harder than the male coach. But I dont think its the good way in any case.

I though so too. That running with chains and holding arms up is just going to wear down front of shoulders, she'll have a bunch of fit guys with arthritis in front deltoids.

****ing muscleheads cracks me up, saying the way she trains is archaic. I think the Henry Armstrongs, Barney Rosses and Marvin Haglers of yesteryear did just fine the those archaic methods of training. :patsch Some guys on here sound like ****ing ***gots. Being motivated and fit is half the battle in boxing. We don't even know a whole lot of her methods and people are already bashing the woman. :-(

So you think that training technics don't evolve and improve with time. While I admit that 5 min. of video doesn't mean much, what I saw is pretty bad.
