I really like Sunny Edwards, who is technically a very skilled boxer, but Galal Yafai is far better than Edwards.

    Yafai victory.

Completely agree. Yafai victory and Edwards only survives to a decision if he goes back to running for his life.

Never rated Edwards. Somehow got this reputation as a fighter with Mayweather-like defence but had been put on his arse by crap fighters like Marcel Braithwaite and Graneros.

I think Edwards wins this on points but it is a close fight on paper, depends what tactics Yafai uses

Great world-level main-event with a really good undercard. English Title clash on the preliminaries is great.

I know Sam Jones gets criticism on here but his fighters tend to move quicker than other top prospects in the country. Uddin has only had 2 fights and is only 21 but fighting the Area champion in his 3rd fight. Vuong is only 22 and fighting a former European Champion who is Mark Chamberlain's best win in only his 7th fight.

Bit of context - he’s the area title champion in the weight below but has lost 4 of his last 5 fights since that fight including the last 3 and is 7-5 in his career. His only win since was a 4 rounder against a fighter who is 0-9.

You're mistaken. The fight is at flyweight which is Uddin's natural weight. Ben Norman has only lost to known fighters who have gone to win notable titles - Butler, Kelsall, Khademi and Daord. Norman is also the reigning Area champion.

For Uddin's 3rd fight it's a great step-up. There aren't many fighters in the world let alone UK who are facing opposition as tough as that in their 3rd fight to be honest.

Even the olympians (minus Galal Yafai and Andy Cruz) have fought fighters with a much weaker record than Norman in their 3rd fight.

Still crap. Lost his last 3 and 7-5 in his career.

And he’s reigning area champion because he’s not been fighting at the weight. He’s lost 4 times since winning that belt.

I’ve always found it that very cocky arrogant fighters who go undefeated for a long time fall apart after a loss prince Naseem and wilder being examples their egos just can’t handle losing I expect Sunny Edwards to be the same and get handled easily by yafai on Saturday

I'm looking forward to this fight, two quality operators. I lean slightly towards Yafai
