Maybe so, but nobody can claim there isn't income of minimum £6,000,000 for this fight

I know that, I am just saying money brought in from the fight.

I would expect them to both get a small percentage of ppv buys... Not the 33% that haye took.

I understand your viewpoint after the first fight they had but even though it wasn't a thriller I still found it quite intriguing, Bellew will be on the front foot more and I think Chilemba will be more confident in engaging cos Bellew isn't as good as he'd anticipated previously.

It'll be the third maybe fourth attraction on the card, Its a WBC world title eliminator, fair play to them both taking the fight so soon an for probably less money.

It will probably be below groves on the bill most people will be watching the champion league final. Im going to be their and it will be interesting to see if bellew can correct the mistakes and win at world level . Hopefully groves opponent will make for a fun fight

There's more than enough money to put on an acceptable undercard that is worth £15 of people's money. Would rather see Ryder-Saunders than Mitchell

Nobody can claim anything at the moment. We don't know what sort of buys the PPV will do, we don't know how many of the tickets were comps or sold in bulk for corporate entertaining, we don't even know what other staging costs are involved.

Eddie is astute enough to make sure he doesn't make a loss, but this is an expensive card and there doesn't seem to be a huge amount of appetite for the fight in the wider world.

I hope it does well enough that Sky sticks with boxing, but I just don't think it was a good fight to put on the platform.

No one will be watching anyway, this fight and the Groves one will be on right in the middle of the Champions League final which will likely have Barcalona and/or Real Madrid playing at Wembley.

Everyone will be watching that whilst sinking a few pints.

At a guess the Bellew fight opens up the PPV. Be interesting to see what they do in the arena. If its Barca-Real arena will be dead. Got to stick the game on the big screens surely

Bellew is a overated and average fighter.. At least chilemba is a good operator. Hopefully he doesnt get robbed again. Chilemba by 8 rounds.

Can sky get rights to show the first froch vs Kessler fight? I think it was primetime or whatever that shitty channel was that showed the first fight.

If sky can get/already had the rights to this fight showing it frequently will surely make anyone who watches it buy the fight.

I suspect the broadcast rights will lie with Hennessey still, so yes. But he might not want to (or be able to) while the legal stuff with Carl is being resolved. Unless they've settled and I'm just not aware of it.

they were showing highlights of it on ringside the other week, weirdly with Sky commentary over it as if they had done it live

I think they will because of how I beleive simular deals for big fights have worked. We ahall agree to disagree.

Anyway you said yourself the card will make money a few month ago.

I still do think it will make money. Just not the grand, SUPERSTAR PPV numbers that Froch feels he deserves.
