why is everyone saying its not even the main undercard fight, with no opponent yet names for Groves i reckon theres a good chance (as Groves opponent won't be anyone decent) Bellew will be the main undercard fight

 

Im still struggling to see how this does make money given the purses for the main protagonists :huh

 

Now lads you also have to remember that Sky will probably chuck in Bute v Pascal as part of the PPV so add the canadian card to the card at the O2 and you've got a fairly reasonable night of boxing. Also this will do more than 200k buys in my opinion it will do around 350k buys which will be an income of £5,232,500.00!!!!

 

We also dont know how much the ppv will cost, most are assuming its £15, has anyone seen this confirmed? Wouldnt surprise me if there was a slight rise in the cost, to around £17.50 for it

I agree, I just went with a very tentative number.

If they build it up properly they could easily do 500,000... But for that sky will need to have rights of the first fight.

All speculation as far as I know. I would guess that it would involve ppv cut so as to make is less risky for Eddie. Maybe Kessler earning quite a bit more as they would have to pay him to get him over here but with froch having more on the table if the ppv sells.

 

Like many here im summising with the numbers and went halfway(allow for a few pence) between £15 and £20 (Or actual price of £14.95 and £19.95). An increase in the cost of ppv wouldnt be a totally surprising occurance.
