Praying it's the 2nd July - I've no chance of watching if it's the 25th. Wish they'd hurry up and tell us

I've hedged my bets on July 2nd , booked the time off .always makes more sense to do these things at the start of the month as opposed to the end .

It should be held in Germany, the atmosphere over there is ridiculously great.

    Could happen in Dortmund, Gelsenkirchen...

Really? I'm yet to see at atmoshphere (at least through the medium of TV) from a fight in Germany where I've though 'wow, that sounds amazing there'. But there have been a fair few fights where the atmosphere has seemed abysmal. Also, as I have said before - I'm just not a fan of the production of the K2 events with the big white rings, lighting and strange camera work.

That being said, I couldn't give too much of a toss where it happens, just so long as it does!

I used to live in Germany, and they love the Klit brothers over there and pretty much hate David Haye.
Attendance wise they can hit up to 60,000 i think so that adds to the atmosphere. The production of K2 events seem a bit cheesy with their entrances and lighting but it doesnt bother e too much

June 25th in Germany with Moscow and Dubai being the other two places that offered large site fees for the fight.

I think the travelling Brits will ensure that this fight has an atmosphere like no other in Germany - and I don't mean that in the 'Brits are great' way.

What I mean is that for the first time in a while a fighter who is seen by many to be a threat to Wlad is going to be bringing his own fans. Most of the Klit opponents don't bring any support with them, but Haye brings a load of renowned noisy sports fans. There will be rival fans competing with each other - The Brits are going to be making noise for their guy, the Germans making noise for 'theirs'. Going to be quality. Now, if they'd just get rid of those white rings . . .

I can't see Macklin Sturm having any impact on this fight whatsoever , what's making you thing 25th ?

    Thats all very true

But then again im just happy that the fight is even taking place, 2 months ago we thought that a Haye VS Klit fight would never happen

And here we are complaining about White Rings, and cheesy ring entrances :D

I'm the same they could fight in a garage, film it on a cameraphone and then not upload it to youtube until the folowing day - and I'd STILL be grateful!

I actually favor the K2 Production. The light show is amazing and the white ring contrasts nicely with the fighters so you can see the little things that might be less visible in regular rings.

To each his own I suppose.................

    Like black fighters?

Nah, i'm not resurrecting that thread again . . .

I just prefer the traditional blue rings and lighting I suppose

    wrong:-(
    Chosen by BOTH fighters

I can tell you they have had offers from many places and Haye has said "No" to many..... so Haye does have a word as to where it will be......

even Booth said something to the fact of "we are like a team regarding picking the venue"

Hi mate - any inclination at all regarding what the date will be? If you could tell Wlad that July 2nd would be best for me as I'm at Glastonbury Festival on the 25th, that would be great, cheers.
