Well, some people who dont even box are mocking me because I lost my first match. It's really annoying to tell you the truth. Some of them even wanted to go and test me in a fight. Did any of these ever happen to you?
No. But then again I only hang around people whom I consider my friends and people who act like adults. Ignore them, it's not worth even engaging them in conversation, they're idiots.
ignore them,at least you have the courage to step in the ring. And it was only your first fight. You'll get better.Just keep working hard and ignore them.
Why do you talk like that? I hope you are joking or being sarcastic. Saying this makes me think you would be one of the people making fun of someone for losing... And yea, just ignore those people. They have no clue what you have to do before you even get up into a ring in a fight.
Ignore them man their oppinion isnt worth ****. They dont understand and never will. I had people i knew who when i started (iv not bin going very long) were always saying oh you must be real tough now and like almost challenging me , they dont get that its just a sport. Theres idiots all over the world better get used to ignoring em mate, your the bigger person.
Just remember its jelousy. Also this sounds crazy but if you show your pissed off then they probably will think its funny and keep doing it. Sounds silly but try and laugh with them just laugh and say "yeh whateva guys id still kick your arse" but in a light hearted joking way and youll find theyll probably get bored and go and annoy someone else
plenty of guys think they are tough until they get their first beating and realise there is alot more to boxing than they thought, it takes alot of courage to step in the ring and unfortunately these guys cant appreciate that, stick with it
Loosing means nothing at all. Really!!!! To whom you lost and how you performed does matter. We have a very good fighter at our gym who lost 4 out of 4 fights because he dared to fight with someone that was so much better than him. And he lost by SD (last fight). JUST ANNOY THEM! OBSIOUSLY THEY DON'T KNOW **** ABOUT BOXING!
Try not to let anyone know you box. That's the best way to avoid these dill holes's challenges. If they do somehow manage to find out, oh well, try to avoid a conflict say things like "man I wouldn't want to hurt you" basically make a joke out of it. It works for me because I'm like 5' nothing and I joke alot, so it just falls into my character. If anyone ever pushes you to a fight, you better make damn sure you **** them up, otherwise you'll never hear the end of it. Punch them in the throat. :-( I just don't get some people.
yes, it has happend before but I wouldnt pay much attention to it, Science. Just ignore them, at least you had the balls to step inside the ring.. I bet theyd ****'emselves. :good
Man, they laughed at Bernard Hopkins first loss in the professional ring too? **** 'em.. why would you care? Keep doing what you're doing.. thinking 'bout that and letting your blood boil only wastes your time.
yeah this happened to me...my friend thought he was hot **** cause i hurt myself while sparring....cut eye ( no biggy ) and he was saying "wow u must've sucked if that happened to you, i bet i could kick ur ass in a fight" then i took him up on that fight...i boxed him in my garage and got a TKO because i hit him in the head and he say all white for the next 3 min...hahhaha plus he was using 12 oz i was using 16 oz he refused to wear head gear or a mouth peice so i was like alright, the better for me... ill post a video of this in a little bit. but anyways dont give a **** of what people think....if you think you did your best that day thats what counts at the end of the day... -Adam
