Just got access to some info passed to me by a well respected boxing authority.
It seems Sam Langford was just 110lbs and barely 14 years old when he gave Jack Johnson life and death in their 1901 fight.
I would like to reveal my source but am pledged to silence having signed a confidentiality clause.
Still you know you can trust me!

Is it a credible source? Oh wait I forgot we don’t need credible sources when discussing here lol.

Any way I don’t know much about this Johnson Character, but he sounds like a joke. About time he is getting exposed as a fraud...

Anyway I don’t even want a source this sounds like gospel and I believe it.

That’s what I read on here...so it must be true.

Now I am researching Langford’s dietary habits so I can incorporate this power into my arsenal. Worst case scenario my house will be a lot quieter

I suspect the source is the hallowed March 1996 issue of Ring magazine.

    Lol.

I'm not been able to find it again, but I find one, I think it was an Ed Dunkhorst obituary, that claimed in his fight with Fitzsimmons, Fitzsimmons turned around and run away from him for comedic effect, before turning around and KOing him with one punch.

Honestly, I think there's potentially something interesting in those articles, just not in believing them over contemporary sources for some bizarre reason.

Yes, you have to have some perspective about it. I remember Mendoza solemnly saying Jeffries kod Dunkhorst in an exhibition in the UK when Jeffries came over for a tour.Dunkhorst didnt make that trip.Jeffries brother Jack assumed Dunkhorst's name, possibly to prevent confusion, possibly as a joke.
