Ivan Calderon Won Over Nelson Dieppa 120-108 In The Three Scorecards. This Kid Is The Best Pure Boxer Outthere Today. He Is Like A Mini Pernell Whitaker.

Best footwork in the sport today no doubt.

I hope he and Ulises Solis can get an unification fight by the end of the year.

HE COULD WIN OVER ANYBODY FROM 105-112 POUNDS, HIS ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT HIS "REAL NATURAL" WEIGHT IS AROUND 100 POUNDS.

i dont think theres anyone in his weight class who could callenge Ironboys skills right now. He'll just box the hell out of the rest of the belt holders in his weight class.

what weight is Donaire at again? Calderon is 108 Isn't Donaire at 115 and thinking about moving up in weight? I don't think that fight would be good how tall is Donaire BTW?

Donaire is a Flyweight(112 pounds), and the guy I quoted said anyone from 105-112. Donaire is 5'6, with a 68 inch armspan, and will likely be moving up to 115 soon. Calderon is 5'0, 63 inch armspan and only fighting at 108 due to lack of comp, even though he's already small for a 105'er. This would be a mismatch at 112.

yea...It wouldn't be smart for Calderon to fight him. I wonder how much farther Calderon will push his career. I hope he ends on a good note, but considering he is past his prime I don't think it will matter too much. I mean its not like he is totally washed up..He is definitely game but he doesn't have to many knockouts and hes gone many 12 rounders in his career. That little body of his has most definitely gone through some wear and tear from all his movement etc that he must have to do to keep his body in shape to perform the way it does.

I hope he chooses to take a big risk unlike the other fellow 105 great ricardo lopez. Lopez had no excuse for not fighting carbajal, hopefully calderon decides to fight the best out there, cuz i'm tired of hearing about guys that are textbook fighters against mediocre opposition.
