froch is 33...he may be "going strong" but he won't be much longer...especially with his style. but yeah...all he has to do is win the wba, ibf & wbo titles...then move up to 175 & beat the number 1 ranked guy there & he will have equalled or bettered calzaghe's resume. but that's hypothetical.

so froch's resume right now =

win over pascal (who went on to get schooled by an even older b-hop than calzaghe beat)
win over abraham (who was a blown up mw who had done nothing at 168)
win over taylor (who was shot, a blown up middleweight & 1 fight away from retirement & was 10 seconds away from winning against froch anyway).
disputed victory over dirrell (that he really lost)
    loss to kessler

5 fights against ranked fighters in his entire career. 3 wins. 1 robbery. 1 loss.

the only other fighter he has faced who has mixed at world level was a shot robin reid. :happy

froch has won the wbc 168 title twice when it was vacant.

    meanwhile.

calzaghe beat kessler (who beat froch)
calzaghe beat b-hop (who made froch's best win look like ****)
calzaghe beat 8 world champions (b-hop, rjj, eubank, mitchell, brewer, woodhall, reid, lacy) compared to froch's 4.
calzaghe won the wbo, ibf, wbc & wba titles at 168...winning all but the wbo from the incumbent champion.
calzaghe moved up to 175 & beat the ring champion in his first fight then a top ten ranked 175 fighter (who was admittedly shot) in his second.

yeah. it is blatant who has the better resume. :hi:

Joe C retired early and avoided the top fights...thats a shame as it put him at a top 100 AT BEST when he coulda worked his way into a top 75 spot, had he taken and won the right fights after RJJ

JC is a paper champion manufactured by Master promoter Frank Warren by having his boy fight only euro-bums, past prime ex-champions, and b level fighters. he ducked all the top fighters while in his prime fighting sub-level bouts at best. After RJJ got KO'ed TWICE, JC pulled his little nuts out the drawer and came to the great states to defeat past prime RJJ and Hopkins. Although he beat the shot RJJ convincingly, his bout against Hopkins proved to the world that the white boy is just a slappper with no technique, no power, and no real heart. What he has is an very unorthodox style that confounds his opponent enough to allow the bitcch to "claw" and "scratch" at his opponents eyes while dragging the tape and string across his opponent's face causing scratches and abrasions. Hopkins effectively countered this feline style and beat Calzaghe using short and sharp connections to Calzaghe's overexposed Jaw all night. Hopkins will always be > Calzaghe!
